So the dreaded “About Me” page. I really hate writing these things out, since I feel that it doesn’t really say much about me, or says too much, or its full of crap. However I DO love reading these pages on other peoples blogs. Anyway even if I don’t like this, I can always change it again! It hasn’t really been changed since I first started this blog though, which was just over a year ago, but I’m changing it now and the theme.

I’ll start with the basics then? My name is Lisa, obviously, and I’m a 19 year old welsh student living in Wales. No I don’t speak Welsh, yeah that sucks, but I grew up in South Wales, its not really spoken much here. My mothers’ first language is Welsh too and I still don’t know, but one day I shall learn! Honest.

I started this blog in April ‘08, because I wanted to join the Day Zero, Mission 101 Things to do in 1001 days project, but I have sort of neglected this blog, and the mission, as well as a bunch of other things. I am a Procrastinator.

Other facts, I’m a vegetarian, have been for about a year properly now. I’ve always been fussy with food and only liked some white meat, most of it processed, and eventually I stopped eating it. Its not because of the animals, I tried that before when I was 10 and failed, but because I don’t like the taste and texture. I think my mum gave in and bought me quorn because she was fed up of me feeding the meat to my cat and makes me take iron tablets now.

I’m in my first year of Uni and it’s almost over. It has gone by SO fast its unreal. Even though I live close to Uni I decided to move out for my first year onto campus. My friend was meant to be living with me but she changed my mind. Living here has had both its good points, and its bad points, and I can’t wait to move back home next year.

I don’t have a job, or drive, but I want to do both. As soon as I get a job I’ll start having lessons. Of course it’ll be awhile before I actually own my own car, but if I have a job, I’m a good saver.

I’ve grown up in a single parent family with three brothers, we like to call our house the crazy house, especially since we have a three-legged no-tailed cat, Kitty. I love being one of four, and if I ever have kids, I think four would be a good number, I like even numbers and two is too little.

I have always wanted to work with children, to be a Nursery Teacher since I was IN nursery, and I still want to, but as there aren’t that many jobs available, I’m thinking maybe working as a paediatrics nurse would be cool too. If I could handle it emotionally and physically, who knows.

I tend to break stuff easily. I lost count of how many mirrors I broke after about ten, and I have broken one laptop and four camera’s. Three within the last year… All the money I saved up went on those things. I have also broken my left wrist three times, two bones the last time, and sprained it twice. I usually have about 6 bruises on me at any time too, I don’t know how they get there.

So wow, I seem to have written loads of paragraphs, and gone off on a few tangents. I tend to do that, and I’m not the worlds greatest speller and writer, but I hope I’m not too bad.

I read a few blogs almost daily, but I haven’t really commented on many, I don’t know why, too scared? But I’d love people to comment on my blog if they stop by and read it, and I’d reply, either on here or if they left a link.

I like sleeping in, I am a night person not a morning person. I don’t drink coffee, and I’m a very fussy eater, it drives people I know mad. I believe in many things, but I am also a sceptic. I wouldn’t call myself religious, but maybe I am, I believe in a God, maybe because I’m so scared of what happens after dying.

I have always been aware of death, and been terrified of loved ones dying since I was little. I guess since my biological dad died when I was three. Since I was so young I don’t have any memories and have a second dad, it doesn’t hurt as much, but it is sad to know that I’ll never know who he was personally, or remember him.

Hmm, maybe I should write about my likes and dislikes now?

I’ll read anything, watch almost anything and listen to most types of music. I like cute fluffy animals and anime/manga and teddy bears. I like starting projects and making lists. I like being creative, whether in writing, drawing or creating, but I haven’t done that for awhile. I love Jensen Ackles and David Tennant, two of my favourite actors. I love my laptop and taking photographs with friends. I might be addicted to oreo cookies and banana milkshake. Some of my favourite colours are blue, green, grey and purple. Ah heck I suppose pink, orange, turquoise and yellow are good too.

I don’t like waking up early, being woken up in the middle of the night, drunk people setting off fire alarms. I don’t like all the usual things such as exams, essays, spiders and other insects. Little things can annoy me so much more than they annoy other people and there are so many I can’t even begin to list. I don’t like how I am a procrastinator, and my usually messy bedroom. I don’t like being strung along and I don’t like being lied to, however small the lie is.

I could go on for ages and ages about what I like, don’t like, other things about me, but frankly, that would be too much, and this is already far too much for an “About Me” page, so I’ll end it now.
